Hero Fragment Calculator
Enter your current progress and upgrade target. Results update automatically. Start with one hero and add up to five.
Enter only the shared fragments that can be used for every hero in this plan. Do not include hero-specific fragments. Up to 2 decimal places, e.g., 0.5 per day. Leave blank to skip the time estimate.Combined Upgrade Plan
Stars and completed steps range from 0 to 5. The completed-step number means how many upgrades you have finished within the current star level. Step 5 is equivalent to step 0 of the next star.

Your inputs are automatically saved in this browser only. On shared devices, use Reset inputs when finished. The English and Japanese calculators use separate saved data.
Upgrade costs are based on 0–5 star values confirmed by DWS攻略研究所, last checked October 10, 2026. Hero unlocking and hero-specific fragments are excluded. This is an unofficial tool.
How to Use the Calculator
- Enter your current star rank and the number of upgrades already completed at that rank.
- Enter your target star rank and completed steps. To reach exactly 4 stars, select 4 stars and 0 completed steps.
- Enter your Orange Universal Hero Fragments owned. If desired, also enter the average number you obtain each day.
- Use Add a hero to plan up to five upgrades. Check the Combined Upgrade Plan for the total fragments still needed.
Example: From 3 Stars, 2 Steps to 4 Stars
If you have completed 2 steps at 3 stars, the remaining costs to reach 4 stars are 50 + 50 + 100 = 200 fragments. With 150 universal fragments, you still need 50; with 250, you will have 50 left over.
If two heroes both start at 4 stars and aim for 5 stars, they require 500 + 500 = 1,000 fragments total. With 600 fragments shared between them, your combined shortage is 400. Individual results assume you devote your entire shared inventory to that hero alone; do not add individual shortages or remaining amounts together.
Hero Fragment Requirements: 0 to 5 Stars
Upgrading a hero from 0 stars to 5 stars requires 957 fragments after unlocking. Each step below shows the cost of that specific upgrade. These amounts do not include the fragments needed to unlock the hero.
| Upgrade | Step 1 | Step 2 | Step 3 | Step 4 | Step 5 | Total | Cumulative |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0★ → 1★ | 1 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 12 | 12 |
| 1★ → 2★ | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 15 | 35 | 47 |
| 2★ → 3★ | 15 | 15 | 15 | 15 | 50 | 110 | 157 |
| 3★ → 4★ | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 100 | 300 | 457 |
| 4★ → 5★ | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | 500 | 957 |
Calculation Rules and Data Source
Upgrade costs were checked by the operator of DWS攻略研究所. Last verified: October 10, 2026. The number of fragments required for star upgrades is treated as the same across hero ranks, but this calculator does not determine whether different fragment types are interchangeable.
Required = the sum of upgrade steps after your current progress up to your target. Still needed = max(0, required − owned). Remaining = max(0, owned − required). For combined hero plans, shared fragments are subtracted only once.
0 stars and 0 completed steps represents a hero that is already unlocked. Hero-specific unlocking costs, hero-specific fragment inventory, upgrades beyond 5 stars, Hall of Glory, hero levels, hero skills, and exclusive equipment upgrades are not included.
Estimated days = shortage divided by average fragments earned per day, rounded up. If the shortage is zero, the estimate is 0 days. If daily income is blank or zero and you still have a shortage, the time cannot be calculated. Events, purchases, and changes in rewards are not automatically included.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this calculator for all hero ranks?
The required quantity for star upgrades is the same across hero ranks according to the site’s checked data. When planning multiple heroes, include only heroes who can use the same shared fragment type. Orange Universal Hero Fragments are not automatically interchangeable with fragments of other ranks.
What is the difference between completed steps 0 and 5?
0 means no step has been completed at the current star rank. 5 means you have reached the next star rank: for example, 3 stars with 5 completed steps equals 4 stars with 0 completed steps. At 5 stars, the step value is fixed at 0.
Can I count fragments specific to one hero as shared fragments?
No. When calculating upgrades for multiple heroes, do not include hero-specific fragments in shared inventory. The current calculator does not support separate allocations of hero-specific materials.
Does the 957-fragment total include the cost to unlock a hero?
No. The 957 fragments are the star-upgrade costs after a hero has been unlocked. Unlocking requires separate hero-specific fragments.
Can I estimate how many days it will take?
Yes. Enter your average daily fragment income. For example, 50 missing fragments at 3 fragments per day takes about 17 days. If you earn 7 per week, enter an average of 1 per day. For multiple heroes, use the combined estimate rather than adding individual estimates.
Are my inputs saved?
Yes, in your current browser when local storage is available. They do not transfer to other devices or browsers. Calculation still works if local storage is blocked. On shared devices, use Reset inputs when finished.
What if the calculator does not display results?
Check for blank values, negative numbers, decimals in star/step fields, values outside 0–5, or a target lower than your current level. Make sure JavaScript is enabled, then reload the page. You can also use the requirements table above to calculate manually.
